How do I scan a coin?
Open the scanner, point your camera at the coin in good light, and the app matches it against the catalog. Recognition is a guide and may not identify every coin — you can always add coins manually.
How are coin values calculated?
Estimated values use the gold spot price you set in Settings, multiplied by each coin's pure gold content. They are guides only and exclude numismatic premiums and live market pricing.
Where is my collection stored?
On your device. Your vault, notes and wishlist are not uploaded to us.
How do I update the gold spot price?
Go to Settings and edit the spot price. All estimated values update accordingly.
How do I turn off notifications?
Open the iOS Settings app → Royal Gold Coins → Notifications, and toggle them off.
